Argus Optical Overdrive

How does it work?

     We took what we learned from our compression circuits and wondered:

    “What if instead of compressing the signal, the input dynamics affected the clipping circuit of an overdrive?”

     Through intensive development we've designed optical circuitry to achieve just that. 

 

     Argus also has a useful middle-eq section. This allows the player to boost or cut a selectable frequency for a wide variety of overdrive styles.

     After the drive circuitry there is a treble shelving equalizer and a master volume; giving the player the ability to put the final polish on their signal.

     True bypass, relay-based switching gives modern and reliable performance.

 

     High-quality Italian made switches from ST Professional have a satisfying, tactile click upon engagement. We also carry the same  Italian switch in a silent non-click variant if so desired. Make your choice in the drop down before adding to cart. 

 

    The More switch toggles between two base gain levels. This is useful for taking a lead or switching between different pickup types or signal levels.

Purchaser pays return shipping, must be postmarked within 14 days of original delivery date. Original packaging must be complete and like new. Pedal must be in NEW condition : No velcro, No scratches or dirt. We reserve the right to charge up to a 15% restocking fee which would be deduced from the refund total. Refund will be processed after we receive and inspect the pedal.
